Ok,

So i just went and purposly brought a system to run x86. Granted it is a cheap system, but should be able to handle it fine.

Specs are:

Celeron D 347 Mill Cedar 3.06Ghz

ASUS P5L-MX

1GB 667 DDR2

Intel GMA950

/now......i have the Jas 10.4.8 SSE2/SSE3.AMD.Intel.Beta v2 Install dvd.

Everything goes sweet when i install i only pick the Intel 950GMA Support.

After the installation finishes, i reboot and i can see ALL resolutions, driver is working brilliantly!! BUTTTT!!!>.......NO BLOODY QE or CI support!!!????? how the heck do i enable this?????

Please! I have been trying for ages!!!, and all i want is QE, and CI!!! :S

Any input will be much appreciated. :)

Ok.....so i just installed 10.4.6 dvd. And.....

It just works!!!

Straight out of the box!

Everyone keeps saying 10.4.8 is SOooooo much better, but i have to say at the moment, i am failing to see any justification in upgrading to 10.4.8.

All three machines i have tested x86 on, have just worked with 10.4.6.... whereas....10.4.8 just goes into a screeming heap.... :S
