kermit1219 Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 I have been trying to install JaS 10.4.8 SSE3 for two days now... what order do i install the patches? just cant get it to go....please help my current setup: intel p4 3.0e (sse3) 1gb ram geforce fx 6200 agp 128mb ide hdd (maxtor 40gb) pioneer dvdrw.. 865 chipset... i cant get it to install right.. .never get to the desktop or welcome to tiger.... no errors on install i think its something with the patches... please help! munky Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 the SSE3 only disc has 'issues'. you'd be best to either grab the newer JaS 10.4.8 SSE3/SSE2 AMD/Intel disc. or, if you have an older install kicking about, since you have an intel SSE3 setup, you could use paulicat's method using Apple's 10.4.8 Combo Update. (google 'paulicat') then again, 10.4.9 has just been released, and Kiko is testing a 10.4.9 combo update package, so you might be best to wait for that! choices choices....
