hepaminondas
Hi, on my Macbook Pro running tiger , the current partition layout is the following $ diskutil list /dev/disk0 #: type name size identifier 0: GUID_partition_scheme *111.8 GB disk0 1: EFI 200.0 MB disk0s1 2: Apple_HFS Mac 34.8 GB disk0s2 3: Microsoft Basic Data 66.8 GB disk0s3 4: Apple_UFS Linux 9.4 GB disk0s4 What I'd like to do is change the partition 3 (FAT32) to HFS+. How can I do this? diskutil seems to accept only a disk (and not a volume) as argument... Thx in advance Miguel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45156-changing-partition-type/ Share on other sites

hepaminondas
solved it by using Tiger's install CD. BootCamp assistant didn't work because of the Mac partition type.
