I have been searching about every day for a solution but no luck, anyone find a fix for this yet? macgirl Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 Even that you set up a 5.1 channels in the Audio MIDI Setup app there is no multi-channel software on Mac OS, an old version of VLC could handle multi-channel, and now the only way to have 5.1 is through SPDIF/Digital connected to a Digital decoder or 5.1 capable home theater. Some cards like the Sonica Theater had Surround Sound drivers for PPC Macs.
