Tyrone Shoe
Is there any way to change the screen resolution for the login window? I checked a bunch of PLists and couldn't find anything. This is a real problem for me because my laptop has a native res of 1600x1200 and sometimes the screen messes up really bad when switching resolutions to 1600x1200 from 1024x768 after logging in. Even if I turn on auto-login, it still screws me because the welcome screen stilll uses 1024x768 too. I even tried setting the graphics mode in com.apple.boot.plist and the gray screen shows up at 1600x1200 but then switches back to 1024x768 when the login screen comes up and then back to 1600x1200 after I login. Really driving me nuts so any suggestions would be insanely appreciated. Edit* FYI, I'm running 10.4.8 JAS on an SSE2 machine. Tyrone Shoe
I appreciate the thought but if you read my original post... I already tried that. This is some other weird kind of problem.
