dwhthompson Posted February 27, 2007 Share Posted February 27, 2007 Hello: I posted a couple of days ago, unable to get my Athlon64 with ASROCK NVidia 4 / GeForce 6100 chipset motherboard PC to get past the "Buffer Headers .. IO Headers" message booting from HD or DVD - using either JaS 10.4.7, JaS 10.4.8 or 10.4.6 HotISO images of osx86 I downloaded another ISO last night - "10.4.8 AMD Final" which actually managed to boot and install natively outside of VMWare, however, it now hangs when it gets to the message "Loading Login Window". If I boot in VMWare from the physical partition, I see at this point, the GUI comes on and I was able to fully load OS in VMWare. Is this an issue with my video card? Does anyone have any advice on getting past this stage? I greatly appreciate any help anyone can give. I feel like I am almost there! I have found some listings on the board that disabling the titan patch allows loginmanager to run. When I boot in VMWare, the message during boot says that titan is disabled - maybe that is why is boots? Can anyone tell me how to disable titan patch?
