JanosX
I have had some major issues updating from 10.4.6 to 10.4.8. I have tried the egwan method but can't get past splash screen. I can get 10.4.6 running perfect with the exception of my dual monitors. I want to try Natit and understand it's my best bet for nVidia cards. So instead, I am now trying to find the Jas 10.4.8 ISO, but can't find it anywhere except Demanoid. Which would be fine but I don't have an account. Is anyone able to send me an invite? jay101 at sasktel.net I would be substantially in your debt. Happy Hacking PS. A big thanks to this forum for even getting me this far!! The Baron
Try the Paulicat method in my sig, works great, and you'll only need the 10.4.8 combo (MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.8Intel.pkg), a fast download from apple. EDIT: you'll need a kernel too, I have the SSE3 one, (pm me if you need it or if you need link ot SSE2) Edited February 25, 2007 by The Baron Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43529-update-wont-work/#findComment-311151 Share on other sites
