dasomen
Hello, I installed JaS 10.4.8 Intel-AMD-SSE2-SSE3 and everything seems fine, exept that every time i click on the 'About this Mac' option, all apps close and desktop gets reloaded. Also, at some point during normal use random apps crash, ie. sometimes i open Skype and it runs normal, but sometimes it crashes. I've tried Colonel's patch, Paulicat's AppleSMBIOS.kext, setted correct permissions, repaired permissions, etc without luck. My kernel (as uname -a reports) is : Darwin localhost 8.8.1 Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1: Sat Dec 9 22:18:27 AZOT 2006; semthex:/nebukadnezar/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386 i386 My system is Intel P4 2.8Ghz, 1GB RAM, XFX 6600GT AGP card (natit.kext, CI/QE enabled), 200GB HD, soundmax integrated audio (working), computer is Dell GX270, monitor Dell 2405FPW (working correctly at 1920x1200 32bits). I hope anyone can help, Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43448-about-this-mac-crashes-also-apps-ramdomly/ Share on other sites

dasomen
Did you try the 10.4 loginwindow package? Hi Ramm, where can i find that?? I read something in another thread but but I didn't saw that option when I first installed OSX (I assumed it was a checkbox on the OSX installing options menu). EDIT: Ok, i just found that package in the installation DVD ( /System/Installation/Packages/10.4.4.loginwindow.pkg), i'm going to try it now to see what happens... :S Edited February 24, 2007 by dasomen Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43448-about-this-mac-crashes-also-apps-ramdomly/#findComment-310574 Share on other sites
