I tried to install Intel matrix storage driver under Vista, but the driver reports that my system does not meet the minimal requirment and the installation fails always. I already installed Intel chipset utility. My questions. 1. Does Vista's inbox SATA driver support NCQ? 2. Does anyone install the Intel matrix storage driver? Thanks! It seems there is no conclusion that whether Vista's inbox SATA driver supports NCQ or not... asap18 Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 I bet it supports it since I think all Intel Macs except for the Mac Pro/Imacs use the same AHCI controller, but the bootcamp/efi firmware at this point does not load it.
