Post-installation problems

HI!

 

I have installed succesfully Mac OS X 10.4.8 from the JAS MAC OSX Intel AMD SSE2 SSE3 incl. PPF1 image.

My notebook:

 

Dell Inspiron 9400

Intel core 2 duo T7200 2,00GHz

2GB 667MHz DDR RAM

160GB SATA HD

nVIDIA Geforce Go 7900 GS 256MB

17" WUXGA 1920x1200

 

1: First of all i want to ask if theres a way to run mac os x with dual core enabled.

With one core it runs perfect but i have to change the bios always before load mac os.

 

2: When I boot mac os x the boot load screen (the one in white with the grey apple) its always well displayed but then the screen blinks and the mac os x desktop is displayed RANDOMLY: Sometimes in a perfect 1920x1200, sometimes in 1200x1920 rotated 90º(very weird because the 70% of the screen is black), sometimes 1920x1200 but flipped vertically (or inverted) image, sometimes in a very small square in the centre of the screen.

Someone knows if i can do anything to fix this annoying problem.

 

3: I have to try to get the sigmatel audio card to work, theres something about this in the osx86 wiki, but i don´t know hot to get to work the broadcom 440 10/100 ethernet card.

 

4: I followed a guide from osx to dual boot with vista using vista bcd but i dont get it to work, Is it possible to boot it from the mac os DVD?

 

I hope someone could bring me some solutions/hints, specially the first 2 points.
