schneeballmaster
Hello, I solved some problems on my system. Maybe it could help someone with his system. I read a lot about problems with my graphics card and problems with higher resolutions. First of all. There is a shareware programm called switchres x. it helped me to get 1680x1050 on 20" TFT. I don't know if this program help you if there is only 1024x768 oder max. 1400x1050 via boot.plist available. But you can try. I solved my driver problem with installing first ATI1X00 WITH AGP support and THEN Natit_Uni_1.0. Everything OK. Seems AGPGart doesn't work on my system. For the people who don't see anything on screen after boot (black screen - no signal): I had the same problem. Try using a adapter from DVI -> VGA. Don't know why but with my graphics card it works. And NOW my System Specs: AMD Athlon X2 4200+ (So939) 1,75 GB DDRAM ASUS A8V-X with Via K8T800 Pro (AGP Board) Sapphire Radeon X1650 Pro 256 MB DDR3 Display LG 204WT (20") Second Display still doesn't work 10.4.8 with AMD SSE3 and 8.8.1. Kernel Hope it will help you.... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43130-solved-problems-saphire-x1650-pro-agp-and-wrong-resolution/ Share on other sites
tuxuser33
Jo, jo. I took this. Worked verry well. But did not fit perfectly in any Intel.MB I own. GigaByte RX165P256D-RH The sound of silence. Used Neo's installer. Worked perfectly. http://www.neoinstallers.com/Forum/index.php?act=uportal Edited February 22, 2007 by tuxuser33 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43130-solved-problems-saphire-x1650-pro-agp-and-wrong-resolution/#findComment-308488 Share on other sites
