Dr. Jeckyll
Hi everyone, we are a couple of guys wondering to have 2 MacPro... meanwile we are transformig our Pc at work to be able to use FCP for Video Editing.. (we work in a Tv netework ) Anyway.. For everyone that wants to put a Decklink extreme Pcie on a Supermicro dual Xeon with X6DA8 mainboard we suggest to DISABLE onboard SCSI and AUDIO devices by changing jumper positions on the mainboard... in this Way we got FCP 5.1 Decklink and Jas 10.4.8 - 8.8.1 Fully working!!!!! If you don't do that you will receive a lot of fake errors during the install & boot sequence of OSx86 and you will ask to god what the hell you have to disable on Bios.... Nothing at All! oly put ACPI power skeme on S1&S3 Enjoy your VIDEO server MJ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42836-decklink-extreme-pcie-on-supermicro-xeon/ Share on other sites
