Hello all,

Now I have MacOSX 10.4.7 native installed on nForce4 chipset and I have 2 RTL8139 and it does not work.

In System Preferences I can see that devises works, and plugged/unplugged cable, also I can assign a IP address to interface, but whan I try ping router I have "No route to host" or "Host is down", and IP-address not converted to MAC-address ("arp -an" say this to me).

And more - once I have the working network, but after reboot it does not work again. I'm not sure what exactly give me this result, I rebooting in safe mode and change IONetworkingFamily.kext on one from 10.4.3 and then from 10.4.7 again etc. And I try make this again but I have no result.

So if someone have the same problem or know how to solve this problem it will be great if you say to me.

P.S.: Sorry for my english

thanks fo reply.

I have valid MAC-address in ifconfig an System Preferences and SetMac script do nothing in my case.

Everything looks right? but does no work. But in system.log I can see one message from /System/Library/CoreServices/mcxd.app "Unable to get ethernet address", but I don't know what does this mean.
