wootonius
I don't know if this helps future users with problems but I have an ATI NB as well on my motherboard and I had to fiddle with some of the settings in the bios to get OSX to see what I wanted it to see. Something I thought was interesting is that only some of the onboard ports work. My firewire and one of my two onboard ethernet ports work, but some of the other ports including one of the network ports don't work. No big deal, just interesting I suppose. Working with the bios during the setup and initial bootups helped me a great deal as I was able to disable things (i.e. SATA which OSX couldn't see anyway) which helped the setup process as it let OSX focus on the hardware I wanted it to work with.
