slackjam Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 during my installation process, under disk utility, i recieved error everytime i format my drive. It says "format failed. unable to locate partition map". i have 160GB Western Digital SATA drive as a default drive in my Compaq laptop. here's the partition Scheme: *Primary Parttion (NTFS for XP) *Primary Partion (FAT32 to be formatted in HFS+) *Logical Partition (FAT32) anyone here experienced the same with mine? any suggestion?? any help will be greatly appreciated.
