kif Posted November 5, 2005 Share Posted November 5, 2005 On my Inspiron 1100, the display is greyscale even though it's set on 256 colors. This makes it almost impossible to read, so I can't get anything done. Does anybody have graphics drivers or anything that will fix this problem? Thanks for your help. awaddon Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Hi Kif From what I have read, you willl need to got to the Dell website and download the latest BIOS for your machine(if you havent got it already), after installing it you need to go into the bios and set you video ram to 8mb, then you will get colour! I have the Inspiron 1150 and unfortunately for me I dont have that option so I'm stuck with the grey for now!
