fustyler Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 When i boot up with the 10.4.8 dvd, using -v platform=x86pc option, it loads up a few things fine, then right after it says starting darwin and at the point of the white screen with mac logo coming up, it reloads itself. I've done all the things the tutorial have shown, including prepared a 30gb fat32 active partition on the same hardrive where my xp is. I've seen others installed osx fine with my motherboard gigabyte 8KI1100 with Nvidia FX5600. I've tried disabling usb in my bios. Can anyone else please give me some pointers?
