blessed006 Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Hello, my 9600 Mobile works fine with myzar 10.4.6 image but not with the Jas 10.4.8. I read and tried all i could get from this forum. At least i tried to copy the working ati kext from 10.4.6 myzar to Jas 10.4.8. But no luck at all. In both images i get only the Callisto 003 fixed to work. And only in the Myzar is QE/QI enable without troubles. So anyone have also a 9600 or a 9700 mobile? With Jas 10.4.8 working? blessed006 Posted February 4, 2007 Author Share Posted February 4, 2007 Hello Conner Weston so the only resoultion available at myzar is the default 1024*768 and QE/QI is supported from the installation on. So only thing to do is to install the callisto003fix and i got the same resolution as your default is 1680 * 1050 and QE/QI(just edit Framebuffer to do this) is also supported. But this only works in the myzar image. I can also install the callisto on jas 10.4.8 and the resolution works fine but when i edit the Framebuffer to use CallistoFB then my screen is {censored}ed up. And so i tried other drivers other kext files but no go. Goes something wrong with the image and 9600/9700 Mobile.
