gavspav
I'm tantalizingly close to getting my system set up right. Thanks everyone. I have my Point of View 7600GT running with QE/CI Even my SATA drive seems to be working (with my A8NSLI-Deluxe) Only problem is OSX doesn't seem to recognize both CPU's of my AMD 4400+ Presumably No of CPU's is supposed to be 2? I thought I'd seen a thread about this before but can't seem to find it now. I am running OSX_1048_AMD_SSE3 Can anyone help? Thanks, Gav Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40800-almost-there-just-need-to-recognize-second-cpu/ Share on other sites
gavspav
OK maybe almost there was a bit optimistic. If I open the activity monitor both CPU's seem to be working. Should I ignore the system profiler? BUT: I can't seem to get Core Image to work. About this Mac claims it is Supported but Quartz Composer unexpectedly quits when I open it and Core Image Fun House doesn't do anything if I apply effects. (doesn't crash though!) Anyone any ideas?
