cell-gfx
Hi, I have been using my OSX86 box for about a month. I installed the Jas 10.4.6 install and performed the 10.4.8 update which worked fine. Today, my machine told me I had to reset in a message overlayed on my screen. I did this, and since, have not been able to connect to the internet. I also have two new network connections in my network preferences that I didn't have before. Disabling both of these has no effect. en0 (my original connection) also shows as connected, but I get no HTTP traffic. I can use VNC to connect from the Mac to my PC, and I can browse network shares between the two. I tried repairing disk permissions and (just in case an Apple update changed anything) reapplying the Broadcom network driver I installed when I first got the machine running. Can anyone help? Cheers, cell Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40232-networking-has-stopped-functioning/ Share on other sites
cell-gfx
All fixed! Rebooting with the router off and then plugging it back in fixed the problem.
