lbraasch
Ok, so i can boot osx using the -x command, however, when attempting to boot into the regular mode, i get to the grey apple w/ the circle thingy, and then it goes to that green screen, telling me to reboot... Any ideas? Everythign works fine in safe mode... except it's safe mode... Also, side topic, anyone know how to turn on the wireless radio in osx? I tried the FN+F5, which turns on and off the bluetooth and wireless radio, but it only turns on bluetooh, and not the wireless... Ideas? Ethernet cable works fine. Is it a safemode limitation? Just for a little go me stuff... I was able to boot into "normal" mode now. there was a conflict w/ my audio drivers, and all those ATI ones... I deleted all of those (as others have had to do), and now my sound works, as well as normal boot... If only i could figure out how to get a higher resolution, and wireless Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4019-i-can-only-boot-into-safe-mode/#findComment-26088 Share on other sites

lbraasch
Type ? at boot to see all boot options.Change the resolution with: "Graphics Mode"="800x600x32" Yess... I knew about the "graphics mode"="___x____x___" command, however, i didn't know it was CASE sensitive. Using uppercase G and M, i was able to get to 1280x1024... I am pretty sure i can't get it to my laptop's native res. of 1400x1050 b/c people are saying it doesn't work... also, when trying to do it, w/ graphics mode, it doesn't work.
