Seekerr
Hey all, I'm currently running the 10.4.1 deadmoo image, because it was a small download, and I have an utterly pathetic 128k connection, so it seemed a good way to try OSx86. I plan to update to JaS 10.4.8 shortly (ie. in about 10 days when my download finishes!) but in the meantime, I have some issues: 1) Input devices: I have a Microsoft cordless Elite desktop. It has a USB connection, which is for both the keyboard and mouse. When used in this configuration, OS X displays the Identify Your Keyboard wizard, but I can't navigate it becos my mouse doesn't work. I've tried adding a USB mouse as well, but that wasn't recognised at all. Using an old PS2 mouse and the PS2 connector for my cordless system which is for the keyboard only, all was well, until I installed the maxxuss SSE2 patch. Now I have no input devices at all. I have tried booting with only a USB mouse, and no keyboard, and that wasn't recognised either. I'm starting to run out of ideas, here....anyone got a clue? 2) Graphics: Just wondering if it's possible to run non-VESA resolutions with an nVidia card on 10.4.1, as my primary display is a 22" widescreen with native res 1680x1050, and all VESA resolutions look rather horrible. Thanks for any help, I understand that the graphics issue is resolved in newer versions, and I wouldn't be surprised if the USB/PS-2 issue is too, however I'd love any solutions that could tide me over in the meantime.
