XLostSpartanX
First off I am using a Gatewat MX6960 notebook. I can get the dvd to boot. I get the gray screen with the apple logo then I get a blue screen and it just stays there. What is going on? Thanks, Nick Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40023-osx6-wont-install-on-laptop/ Share on other sites
articquad
This screwed me over too. You need to have it connected to another monitor for it to boot. Both off the DVD and whenever you want osx86 to boot. Hehe. reghost
it should work. Also you can use a paper clip and short out pin 2 and 12 on your vga port. Just tried it.... didn't work (connected monitor). As soon as the gray screen went gray my monitor switched back to my other input... I will try the paper clip thing. Also I tried connecting it to a crt monitor that only has a vga port and it still didn't work.
