I've downloaded the latest drivers from Ralink's website and installed them on my hackintosh (10.4.8 Jas). I then restarted, and when the computer was back up, I plugged in the d-link usb adapter. It is recognized and also recognizes my network. The network is a WPA-PSK TKIP network with no SSID broadcasting. I click connect, type in the ssid and then the password, and the program freezes for a sec as if it's trying to connect. It then "unfreezes" and i can try to connect again. I can never get a successful connection to the AP. In the network settings, the mac shows the wireless device as eth1 and when i give it a manual ip (192.168.1.106) there's a green dot and it says it's got a connection. However, there is no indication that there is any connection in the ralink software and when i ping the router is says that the host is down. Has anybody been able to get a setup like this working and if so how?
