Tried to install from ISO on VMWare GSX Server 3.2 (Linux host). As the VM-Hardware from the Deadmoo image is newer, the ready-to-go VM can't be installed, although it works like a charm inside VMWare Player.

When installing using a physical DVD drive, everything goes well, except for networking. After using Maxxuss' PCNet driver, the NIC is recognized by the OS, the lil icon turns green, but it's impossible to reach any other host on the same LAN (safe mode gives if a MAC address too). Sniffing doesn't reveal any packets coming out of the MacOS VM while networking works like a charm using any Linux distro. IP and mask are configured manually to the same values in both OSes.

So, I'd call this a partial failure. Maybe someone knows how to debug this or, if not, the next release of GSX hopefully comes with an upgrade of the virtual hardware to the same level of VMWare Workstation 5.5.
