Hi to all... I'm a newbie, and italian, so excuse me for my poor english. I'll try to explain what's my problem.

I've got 2 HD in my PC: 1 maxtor 80 Gb with windows xp on, 1 samsung 120 Gb with all documents and some personal files.

I've used diskpart to create a 10 Gb free partition, with this procedure:

  • LIST DISK
  • SELECT DISK
  • CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY ID=AF
  • EXIT

Then I've obtained a 10 Gb free partition, where install Mac Osx... primary partition. I've installed Acronis Boot Selector and then restarted PC. After booting with 10.4.4 Jas I've started to install x86. When in the Disk Utility section x86 asked me where install the operative system, I've found Maxtor 80 Gb with his name, and Samsung 120 Gb with only 30 Gb visible in total and a partition with about 8 Gb free... thinking this was normal (this was my BIG ERROR) I've initialized this 8 Gb partition, thinking that was normal have the rest invisible. I've succeded with install x86, all is working fine, except audio and network; but.... when I've restarted my winXP I've found my mistake.

There is only C: (Maxtor 80 Gb) visible and my D: is desepperaed... as in the x86 install disk utility I can see with XP disk Utility only 8 Gb of a NOT STANDARD partition (with max osx) and a NOT ALLOCATED part about 34 Gb.

;) Someone can tell me if I must hope in some way to recover my loss data?

Thanks in advance...
