Alucard!
Hell no! To make osx working u need to hack it a bit. But it is not legal to modify any part of the osx. So even if u buy it it still will not work on your pc. If u wanna go the legal way go and buy a mac computer. This way u will have a working machine and no legal problems Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39433-question-about-installing/#findComment-281064 Share on other sites

Alucard!
i know you have to patch it also so how would u do that? Why do u want to hack a original Cd? Isn't the torrent file enough for u? Or is it " I'll do it myself" thing. U gotta relax dude. If u want to run a osx on your pc there are many other ways to do that. consolation
The only useful thing on the Apple install DVDs is the software that apple bundles, iLife, garageband & loops, iwork, comic life etc... You can install them using pacifist. Most are on the second DVD, you will not see them but if you get Pacifist to open the disk you can see the packages there. Note that there is no intel disks for sale, so you need one that came with an intel mac. I used ones from GF's macbook. Have you taken even a cursory look at this forum? Applications will run great with no hacks. The OS? Well, that is the purpose of the forum. It is all, shall we say, massaged.
