willow
I just installed 10.4.8. THe first time I installed it, I included the ATI & Nvidia drives. The os would start to boot but then hung up. So, I erased the partition & installed it again, this time without the drivers. Everything went fine...os booted fine too. However, when I try to play a DVD, I get the following: There was an initialization error A valid video device could not be found for playback. [-70017] I'm assuming I need a diferent video driver for my ATI x1900GT. Where can I find one?
