_Dave03_
I just figured out, how to get legacy support working(works for me). System specs: Asus A8V Deluxe Amd 64 3000+ 10.4.8 AMD Final, beta9 kernel Nvidia 6800GT 256mb Dual boot using Acronis OS selector 10. USB Comfort curve keyboard 2000 USB Logitech MX500 I've deleted Extensions.mkext and Extensions.kextcache and rebooted my system with legacy mode turned off. After it has rebuilt the cache I restarted again and turned legacy mode on. This way it works for me fine until the system recreates the cache and legacy mode is turned on. So, after you've changed anything in the extensions folder or you've started in single mode, the cache is recreated and legacy won't work until you repeat the 2 steps above. Hope this works for other MacHaxxors , too! bye bye _Dave03_ Edit: Propably you have to disable verbose mode. I'm not sure, but I guess, the cache is rebuilded if you boot with oder -v ,too, so you'd better remove this flag from your boot.plist! _Dave03_
In bios, you should find something looking like "Chipset settings" and/or "USB settings". There you can activate/deactivate legacy mode. Just take a closer look at the several menus in bios. _Dave03_ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39301-working-usb-legacy-support/#findComment-280146 Share on other sites
