The 10.4.8 install keeps saying "waiting for root device" before installing. I know I have to have the DVD drive on the primary IDE channel/have it be the master drive. But I don't know how to change this on my laptop. Any tips or help? Thank you in advance. I can only create an IDE one and it can't find the active partition because of this.
