Boot-up error?

vmware-server issues:

I downloaded the internet driver, but I have no way of getting it onto the mac. I burned it to a CD, but when I put it in the drive while running OSX via vmware, it doesn't do anything. Also it doesn't do anything with my USB FLASHDRIVE. Am I doing something wrong, how do I access these devices? Do I need to change some settings in vmware server?

 

Also, VMWARE-TOOLS doesn't work. Is there an alternate to vmware, to fix all these issues?

partition issues:

I also tried the partition method, and I installed with no errors, but when I boot up into the partition, this happens:

 

 

 

 

 

 

P.S: I would MUCH rather have the partition method working. Help on that would be fantastic
