Willem de Koning
So i tried tubgirls amd 10.4.8 final ISO.. said installation was 100% successful, but upon reboot does nothing, wont even boot to the hard drive using the CD method, just sits and sits. I also cant use Disk Utility to try and reinstall, it always says it lost connection to Disk Utility Host or something. I tried a 10.4.6 release, i think from JAS, it boots up fast to the installation screen but my USB mouse and keyboard (apple) are unresponsive. In fact, it seems like the USB bus shuts off completely, as the mouse and keyboard fail to get power even once the installer GUI starts. What ISO can i get thats headache free? I can care less if iTunes and Rosetta work fine on my computer, since i just want to run Logic Node (universal binary). My specs: AMD Athlon 64 3500 (SSE2), 2gb ram, SATA with VIA onboard, K8T800 motherboard Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39241-install-problems-on-amd/ Share on other sites
Vertigo50
I don't know if any ISO is going to be problem-free, but I was having trouble with the 10.4.7 version, and I tried the 10.4.8 Intel AMD SSE2, SSE3 (JaS) version, and was able to get it working. You might try that one to see if it helps. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39241-install-problems-on-amd/#findComment-279741 Share on other sites
