FilipeSousa
Hi, I have a MacBook Pro 15 inches and I recently installed Windows XP with Boot Camp with the FAT32. And it's constantly freezing, every minute, for 30 seconds. It freezes totally: the mouse, the keyboard, the sound, everything! And when that happens, the CPU Usage blasts off to almost 100%! Can someone tell me what's wrong? Thank you in advance. ##EDIT## OK, I solved the problem By uninstalling Windows and then re-installing again, with the same CD but this time I chose more free space on the Windows Hard Drive and also chose the NTFS mode. dragonpool
Something is wrong with your Windows system. Have you installed any other programs besides the operating system? Doing a clean install again using another Windows XP SP2 disc may help. FilipeSousa
I installed firefox, Avast antivirus, Steam and some games, but this started to happen right when I logged in Windows for the first time. dragonpool
You may check what the process is using most of the CPU time when its usage is almost 100%. The system freezing might be caused by overheating of CPU.
