mkoafo Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Hi, I have followed the following guide on how to install Mac OS X to a partition on my notebook: Installation Guide The problem is that after selecting OS X from dual boot I get the grey apple bootscreen with the round spinning thing on. then the color changes to yellow and it says that I need to reboot the computer but when I do that, the same problem comes again.. A H Timu Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 Keep Installer DVD on it's drive. Restart computer. It will boot from DVD but OS will start from HDD. Eject DVD after start OS and enjoy.
