Post your motherboard model, 8237 is a chipset. Under Windows, perhaps you can find the LAN-related hardware (networking chip, like realtek etc) in the Device Manager. Again, you have the AMD Sempron, not the "Semprone". Using the information you'll get from that, try the forum search and the HCLs at http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page before replying or creating a third thread.

Here is your other thread, on your USB not working, just to link the two threads. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=38951

edit: from the info on your motherboard just posted in the other thread, your onboard LAN is the VIA VT6122. Try searching for info on that. If there is no info, please post your results in the HCL.

I'm afraid thats likely-

I'm afraid your motherboard isn't turning out well for OS X. VIA isn't used by Apple apparently, and since they've historically had troubles with their chipsets, many people avoid them. Good Luck :)

I usually don't do this, but just so you don't have a dead PC, check out linux.

ubuntu.org , opensuse.org etc.

If you end up looking for a new motherboard, I'm trying to find the most compatible ones here, and will be updating this hopefully-
