After succesfully installing Mac OS X on my laptop, with all the patches included, and with even that fancy optimisation done, I am unable to boot into mac os. I used the 10.4.6 JaS image on my Sony Vaio (VGN-B1XP). Its a regular intel centrino 1.7 with an (i think 855) intel chipset and (only) 512 mb ram. My ps2 keyboard and mouse don't work, but i've read that's normal.

I used a primary partition of about 7GB at the end of my harddisk right after an extended partition...

I installed it several times and each time it doesn't even start booting. When I make the partion active (before or after the install, doesn't matter), it gives me an error: "Een fout is opgetreden tijdens het laden van het besturingssysteem", which is dutch for "An error has occured while booting the operating system". Everything on my laptop is in english so its quite weird it says that in dutch. If I use Boot Magic as bootloader it says it starts my chosen operating system and that's all. My hard disk doesn't do a thing...

Does anyone have a slight idea of what i might have overlooked, or what i might be able to do to fix it?

Thanks in advance!!

Well... apparently i was smart enough to select the extra packages, but not smart enough to deselect the amd packages. Now it boots! :)

Thanks anyway! ;)

On the other hand mac os asks for a keyboard, which i don't have. And my bios isn't able to do anything about my usb. If anyone has a quick solution for that, it's always welcome!!
