askeyol Posted January 12, 2007 Share Posted January 12, 2007 I just installed Tubgirl's 10.4.8 DVD to a native partition. It installed without any problems. However after rebooting it hangs at the following: /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MacOS/loginwindow: Login Window Application Started I've heard of this problem happening with some NVidia graphics card, but I have an ATI Express 1100 graphics card. Any ideas on how to fix it? AMD Turion 64 CPU ATI Radeon 200M Chipset Any help would be appreciated. I'm gathering that there are some certain kexts that you have to delete/download/edit for this to work, is that correct? I am new to UNIX and don't know anything about its terminal, though, other than you have to hit -s to get it. Could anyone possibly help me out there? I currently can't get into the OSX gui at all.
