I Have an Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Device ID: 1677 I have installed "AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext" that have solved the network for other users with same network card But the computer freezes when booting OS X 10.4.8 Every answer is highly appreciated! Using -v option it shows "....setPowerLevels - returning early, have a 5721..." error. Any guru jumps in to give a clue on this? However, I did figure out a way to boot though. I went to the bios and disabled the network card. Then I was at least able to boot again.
