boon4376
It shows up as 2 Ghz under windows, and also on the processors box .... Is Mac overclocking my processor? My temperature hasnt gone up, maybe its just a glitch in the software? I have never been able to overclock the processor past 2.4 Ghz while keeping it stable in windows. consolation
Yes ,OSx86 installs a hyperdimensional gateway to uranus, this ducts cool "air" to the processor allowing it to run twice as fast. Wait, you only have 3 GHz, should be getting AT LEAST 4.0Ghz. You do know there is a search button, right.... Prawker
Its a software glitch, i have a 2,2 GHz Athlon 64 3500+ and it did the same thing in 10.4.6, its not over clocking, OS X is just detecting it wrong. upgrading to 10.4.8 corrected this.
