Aegir Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 (edited) Hy I recently downloaded this torrent: MAC_OS_X_10_4_8_Intel_Only_Jas_re_seed_(SSE3_Only_NO_AMD)-++Demonoid.com++_2626323.0698.torrent I burned it al slowest possible speed (2x) on my acer aspire 5672wlmi notebook, but i just won't install I'ts very strange, the second or third time I booted from the dvd, all did well, but as it was only a test to see wether the dvd was working or not I did not install it yet. Now, the installer always hangs on the following line: IOAPIC: version 0x20 vectors 64:87 (sorry, it's not so easy to take pictures of an LCD in the dark) i've rebooted several times, turning battery saving on and off (it's a core duo, so maybe by shutting down 1 core..) but, that didn't work either Is there a way to fix this problem? If it's possible, without the need of downloading another 5GB dvd?
