restless Posted December 24, 2006 Share Posted December 24, 2006 Hi; I have a pc (amd opteron) and mac os x 10.4.6 (by goat-secx) on it (so i have a hackintosh). now i can't run shake 4.1, when i run it, a window apears for a few seconds and then disapears (and i have an option for sending a report). i have nvidia 6600 video card and the latest macvidia driver. any help? thanks. Postmastagen Posted December 27, 2006 Share Posted December 27, 2006 (edited) I had the same problem with both shake and FCP...What it was was 2 problems first was I didn't have QE/CI enabled...Shake/FCP REQUIRE QE/CI if you dont they woulnt load. The other problem was that I didnt have a working Ethernet port on my laptop once I got my ethernet port working and my quadro nvs dectected with QE/CI/OpenGL it opened perfectly. Have you tried Titan/Natit to get your card dectected with QE/CI? The MacVidia drivers do not give full support just resolution change and a few other things.
