Did the RX 6400 work on Tahoe?

I have an RX 6400 card; is it possible to get it running on Tahoe?

@Green206 I imagine that your searches returned the same as mine.  

 

• Reddit: "6400 and 6500xt are Navi 24 .. there is No driver for them (also quite bad GPUs)"
• ChatGPT: Short answer: No — the AMD Radeon RX 6400 is not supported in macOS (including Tahoe).
• Dortania: "Unsupported cards include RX 6300, RX 6400..."
• The optimistic posts I found said to "wait for NootRX update"
• NootRX: Still says "Nav24 support coming soon"

As a temporary solution until NootRX is released, I can install an RX 570 4 GB card in the computer, but it consumes more power.

 

Is there any other card that draws very little power and will work on Tahoe?

 

or keep the RX 6400 and plug the cable into the integrated graphics port.

You could review the Dortania link that I provided for you in my previous post.  If you are considering the replacement to be temporary (I'm not so sure about that, but let's assume you're correct), then maybe you don't want to purchase another card.  If the iGPU works well enough for you, that's clearly your lowest power option at the moment.
