Hello everyone,

I am a new member and a beginner in the Hackintosh community, and I'm very excited to join InsanelyMac. I am currently working on installing macOS Tahoe on my AMD system.

Here is my main hardware configuration:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 (Zen 4)

  • Motherboard: ASUS B650M-E WiFi

  • GPU: AMD RX 6750gre

  • Bootloader: OpenCore 1.0.6

My progress and critical issues I am currently facing:

  1. Onboard Ethernet (RTL8125): The Kext (LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext) loads, but the device don't works (en0 don't show). I suspect this is due to AppleEthernetRL.kext conflict and the known AMD IOMMU/AppleVTD compatibility issues in Tahoe. I have already disabled IOMMU in BIOS and set DisableIoMapper=True.

  2. USB Type-C Power Delivery: I have mapped my USB ports, including the Type-C port (HSxx/SSxx) with Port Type 09 (TypeC+Sw), and SSDT-USBX is loaded. However, my iPhone connected via the C-port is recognized but fails to get an IP/establish network sharing (yellow status).

  3. Temporary Network: I can only achieve stable network sharing by connecting my iPhone to a standard USB Type-A port.

My main goal is to achieve stable networking, either by fixing the RTL8125 or by reliably using a USB to Ethernet adapter as en0.

Any guidance or suggestions from experienced members would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding the Type-C power issue on the B650 chipset.

Thank you very much for your time!

I have a usb wifi adapter,  using Wireless-USB-OC-Big-Sur-Adapter works, but it's too slow, only 2MB/s, and icloud/imessage broken. I also bought a cheap usb rj45 adapter,  icloud/iMessage not works too.  the en0 not built-in, even if I mark the usb port as internal.
