Hi

I have succesfully fresh installed Ventura 13.7.8 on the following hardware :
Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 bios F14
Intel Core i5-12600K 12th Gen Alder Lake
RAM 32Go : Crucial 16Gb 3200MTS x 2
Radeon Sapphire Pulse RX 570 series 4Gb (second hand, unknow vBios (stock or mining mod one))

I have mapped my USB ports with USBToolbox and kept only 9 ports.

First, everyhting works fine on Windows 11.

On Ventura, everything works fine but some time the screen freeze with squared pattern (see picture attached). It could be :
- with screen saver off and disk suspend off, after a variable period of time of inactivy (not touching keyboard or mouse) or juste after moving the mouse,
- with screen saver on, once the screen save is lounched, I move the mouse and get the password screen, then it freeze just after.

Some time several sleep/wake up work well and then suddenly it freeze.

Often the PC is still alive as I can connect via ssh and run some commands, just the screen get frozen. If I try to restart properly vi a shutdown -h now, it quit the remote session, I can see the disk led flashing for few seconds but the PC does not stop : I have to hard stop it. Rarely I cannot connect and need directly to hard reset.

This happen wether the Screen is connected via Display port or HDMI.

On HDMI, I was able to lower the sync to 50h and I though this was better, but it still happen more rarely.

It looks like a graphics issue but I though RX570 were supported out of the box.

I thought it might be an issue with the vBIOS as I am not sure it's not a modded one, but I am still trying to find an original file to flash the card.

Could it be linked to USB mapping ? But all ports seems ok.

My EFI is attached

I have installed Sequoia on a second disk and get the same result.

On this, I even see the screen with glitch, then screen scraver shutdown the display, then moving the mouse the screen appeared normaly, but without the login box.

Thanks for your help.
