Mildred Hubert
Hello everyone, I'm trying to build a stable Hackintosh on my HP Z620 workstation, and I need help creating a compatible and clean EFI folder. I plan to install either macOS Monterey or Sonoma — whichever works better with my hardware. I'm aiming for a fully working system including iMessage, FaceTime, GPU acceleration, USB mapping, and sleep/wake support. Here are my full system specifications: 🖥️ HP Z620 Workstation: – CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2690 (8 cores / 16 threads, Sandy Bridge-E @ 2.9 GHz) – GPU: AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (Polaris) – RAM: 32GB DDR3 ECC – SSD: 500GB SATA – Audio: Realtek ALC262 onboard – Ethernet: Intel 82579LM – BIOS: CSM disabled, VT-d disabled, Legacy USB enabled 🎯 Goals: – Native GPU acceleration (Metal support) – Working Ethernet, Audio, and USB – iMessage / FaceTime / App Store access – Sleep/Wake support – Stable system with OpenCore If anyone has a similar setup or working EFI, I’d really appreciate your guidance or a shared EFI. Thanks in advance!
