rahulviv_ Posted July 12, 2025 Share Posted July 12, 2025 π§ Successfully Running macOS Tahoe on Dell Inspiron 3576 (i3-7020U + Intel HD 620) β Full EFI Shared System Info: Dell Inspiron 3576 CPU: Intel Core i3-7020U GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620 RAM: 12GB DDR4 SSD + Dual Boot with Windows macOS Version: macOS 15 Tahoe (Beta 3) Bootloader: OpenCore 0.9.5+ EFI: Created using OpenCore Simplify β Working Features: - Graphics Acceleration (1536 MB β 2048 MB patched VRAM) - Audio - Trackpad Gestures (basic) - Bluetooth (via USB dongle) - Apple ID + App Store - SD Card Reader - Dual Boot (Windows & macOS) β Not Working / WIP: - Internal Wi-Fi (Qualcomm QCA9377 not supported) - One USB Port (still mapping) - Launchpad gesture glitchy Framebuffer Patch Used: - ig-platform-id: 59160000 - framebuffer-unifiedmem: 00000200 - Patched using Lilu + WhateverGreen π¦ GitHub Repo with EFI + Guide: π https://github.com/Rahul11122333/Hackintosh-On-an-Dell-Inspiron-3576 I created this EFI manually and made sure itβs stable on my machine. HD 620 laptops often need SSDT-PLUG + proper USB mapping for reliable sleep. Completely new to this thing any recommendations on where to get started?
