hi I'm brand new here at https://www.insanelymac.com

I have a lenovo m920q tiny that I am trying to install mac os on.

I have an efi and it can install the first part of the installation.

then the geekster then the Apple logo appears but then it just repeats :) and then the Apple logo appears again and that's it

I'm posting my efi file here. https://limewire.com/d/rruA5#e8uBEvSFbb

information on computer

https://www.refurbed.dk/p/lenovo-thinkcentre-m920q-tiny/

I hope you can help me. 🙂

But is the bios configured well ?
Replace with this EFI.zip (there were many useless kexts in yours)

OK, check it out :) The BIOS is also available in the same way as the BIOS is set to 1-Set SATA to AHCI

2- Disable Secure Boot

but I can see there are a lot of settings in the CPU but I can try to take a picture and send it

With latest EFI I just started my PC (  coffee-lake with your smbios  ) without problems

At least you should have seen the Gui

Check here for bios  https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config.plist/coffee-lake.html#intel-bios-settings

Here   https://www.youtube.com/live/u2KaYy_93QI  it says that with HDMI it might not work ( How are you connected to the monitor ? ) DP is recommended , pay attention to the Bios configuration ( even if it seems to me that you are almost fine )

look at the "Video Setup"

At startup did you press f12 to boot from usb?

:wallbash:   Of course it will never work this way... why did you say these things here  ?

We both just waste time  !

This is no longer valid as you can see it is only for OC 0.6.6, we are at 1.0.4 ... you will only mess up the plist ... then with notepad 🤦‍♂️

Let's start over again From Windows

Create a folder on your desktop and rename it

com.apple.recovery.boot

Download this app ( windows.zip )   https://github.com/AngeloAvv/MacRecoveryX/releases/tag/v0.4.0

Unzip and launch  "  MacRecoveryX "

Select and Download Ventura

as destination of the files ( BaseSystem.chunklist and BaseSystem.dmg ) always choose the com.apple.recovery.boot folder

Prepare the usb https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/windows-install.html#rufus-method

Once formatted, copy the folder com.apple.recovery.boot

and the EFI (not zipped) from here    https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361028-lenovo-m920q-tiny/#findComment-2832188     to the root of the USB

In the end you will have to have it like this inside the USB

Spoiler

com-efi-done.a6fb730e.png

Restart select (via hotkey f12)  the USB to boot

Which network card is ? ! important !

Because this method  ( Recovery ) needs an internet connection , to download the full installer

it just restarts I just took a video of it. and some picture  https://we.tl/t-cSzagqVDkF

Hi, try this EFI

EFI-Lenovo-ThinkCentre-M920-Opencore-1.0.5.zip

Useful try program that @Anto65 said, but is better if you get image from Olarila provide by @MaLd0n and burn with Balena Eatcher

Don't forget give Reset Nvram on Boot with backspace type and choose it.

Format your pendrive in FAT32 on Windows and after boot Format ALL disk in APFS, choose root disk

Good Lucky

PS: with pendrive USB in FAT32 not need "open" EFI, just drag and drop your EFI folder on it and run first at boot
