Babita Rawat
Hello InsanelyMac Community, I have been optimizing my Hackintosh setup and recently came across the suggestion to use the agdpmod=pikera boot argument for improved GPU performance on macOS Big Sur 11.4 and above. While this seems promising & I am keen to learn more about real world performance and system stability from those who have implemented this. Is there anyone who has used the agdpmod=pikera option to perform any benchmarks on macOS Big Sur 11.4+ with their GPUs; How well does your GPU work with highly demanding apps like games, video editing & 3D rendering? Have stability problems developed since you added agdpmod=pikera to your boot arguments? If you have any general advice or experiences to provide regarding optimizing the performance of your GPU on macOS please share with me. Your knowledge and experiences will be of great worth to me. Thank you in advance for your help😊 With regards, Isabeliya deep learning Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/359675-i-want-gpu-performance-benchmarks-and-experiences-with-macos-big-sur-114/ Share on other sites
MaLd0n
Pikera just replaces board-id to avoid black screen in some GPUs like RX5500, 5600, 5700, 6600, 6800, 6900.
