Babita Rawat
Hello everyone, I want to replace my current GPU with a more potent one that works with my setup and macOS; I am not sure about the processes required for the update and its compatibility & I have had my eye on the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. The details of the Hackintosh I am using right now are as below. CPU= Intel Core i7-9700K Motherboard= ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E RAM= 32GB Corsair Vengeance Current GPU= AMD Radeon RX 580 macOS Version= Monterey 12.3 Anyone have successfully upgraded to this GPU & can anyone recommend a better option. I'd appreciate any advice I might need to make in Clover or OpenCore. Thanks in advance for your help Best regards Isabeliya☺️ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/359667-i-want-upgrading-gpu-on-my-hackintosh/ Share on other sites

miliuco
@Babita Rawat Excellent GPU for macOS. It works on macOS since Big Sur 11.4. Same settings used now, adding only agdpmod=pikera in boot args, must do the trick and you' like GPU performance. Babita Rawat
@DonatorsThank you for this recommendation. I will make sure to add agdpmod=pikera to my boot arguments. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/359667-i-want-upgrading-gpu-on-my-hackintosh/#findComment-2822575 Share on other sites
