StormSeeker
Good morning and nice to meet you; I've been looking on the web for a solution to my problem and you seem to be the only person knowing some solution. Could you please provide me with guidance on this? (I can even write in a thread or topic if you ask me to). I have a PC similar to the person I read a post by (ASUS P9X79 Deluxe with Xeon E5-2670 V2 Engineering Sample). I want to virtualize Sonoma. I use VMWare Workstation Pro 17.5...something. I tried to install, but after install I enter a bootloop due to lack of AVX2 instructions. If I do all the same things on a newer machine at school, then it boots up correctly. Anyway, I want it at home, not at school, so I need to install on my P979 Deluxe with Xeon E5-2670 V2. You say that Sonoma installs and boots correctly. My question is: do you think that it might be due to me and you using different ISOs, maybe you 14.0.something and me 14.1.something or later? Could you point me to the exact ISO version you were able to make work? Thank you so much in advance!
